i’m hearing a lot of misconceptions and misinformation about me today, so i am writing this post to clear the air.

i started a separate channel because i felt that pluru was becoming increasingly hostile towards me.  and the two people who made me the most uncomfortable were octopole and varinn.

i asked some people in pluru and other places to join my channel because i didn’t have a safe space.

i still stayed in pluru because i still had a lot of friends there, i just had my guard up.

however, after the events of today i’m seeing some accusations about me that have no bearing in reality.

supposedly i sent racy pictures to people.

this is not true, prior to, and shortly after i came out as trans, i sent some people i felt i could trust pictures of me presenting as female, as a way to build my own self-confidence.

if you consider a transwoman presenting as female to be racy than that’s you’re problem, not mine.

supposedly, i talked about fetishes unsolicited.

i did not talk openly about that in pluru to my recollection.  the only time i talked about things like that was on tumblr via memes like tmi tuesday.  and when i did make general posts about them, i would post them on a sideblog, under a readmore or with tags for tumblr savior.

i did talk about buying clothing for myself, but my gender identity is NOT A FUCKING FETISH.

now, with regards to what happened today.

one of the people who has joined my safe space irc channel had some personal issues with some other members, and i wanted to maintain this safe space for LGBTQ folks.

so i respectfully explained the situation to them and said that because of this, their presence was not conductive toward maintaining a safe space.

hours later, i discover that i had been banned from pluru, i wasn’t active in there at the time, i received no warning or explanation, simply that i was no longer welcome in a place that i had been for years and helped me through some difficult times.  even if i have felt noticeably unwelcome in there since coming out as trans.
