i’ve been kind of wanting to get myself to draw good lately so i’m probably gonna pick up a wacom bamboo to see if i can do anything at all
a sketchbook and a pencil would be a lot cheaper
im basically a huge nerd and…
i won’t stop you if you think you can get use out of it vOv i’ve seen people get tablets and basically never use them before so i dont’ want it to be a waste
bluh i basically waste all of my money on shit anyway so i dunno its just something i’ve kinda had on the periphary of “hey i should get one sometime”
the thing about a tablet is that there is a huge disconnect between what your hands are doing and what you are seeing
so it takes time to get used to that disconnect
and sometimes people, especially when they are inexperienced at art have trouble with that disconnect and can’t do it.
plus imo you can pick up some bad drawing habits when you start out with a tablet, but that’s just me.
i mean you can get one if you want but i don’t think there’s much beating the feel of putting graphite or charcoal to paper.
